Upon graduating from law school, George joined the tax staff of a national accounting firm for a year and a half, gaining valuable tax experience. George has had a private law practice ever since that time, practicing with a few local firms before co-founding the law firm of Yarbrough & Elliott, P.C.

George has been awarded an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating, the highest rating given by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. He has, on occasion, taught continuing legal education seminars on topics related to his areas of practice.
